Entertainment TV Channel / GDS TV is a television company that was founded in 2012, and first aired at the end of November of the same year. Its founder is Bera Ivanishvili. The name GDS is an abbreviation of Georgian Dream Studios. TV programs are mostly aimed at young people. GDS TV used to be an entertainment-educational-music channel, but from March 4, 2015, it changed its format and switched to general broadcasting, after which several political programs were added to the channel’s on-air network.

From the new season of 2015, GDS completely changed its tactics and became a TV channel focused on Georgian TV series. At the end of 2016, GDS was bought by Georgian Media Production Group, the owner of Imedi, and merged into media holding: Imedi, Maestro, GDS.
