General TV Channel / The Futurs Médias group is a Senegalese company based in Dakar, present in the media. Founded by Youssou N'Dour in September 2003, the group has the most widely read Senegalese daily L'Observateur, a radio station, Radio Futurs Médias (RFM), a television channel, Télé Futurs Médias (TFM), launched in September 2010, as well as a printing house. Following his appointment as Minister of Culture in April 2012, CEO Youssou N'Dour leaves the group's management to Mamoudou Ibra Kane and brings his son, Birane N'Dour, as Deputy General Manager and number 2. The Future Media Group is a company based in Dakar, Senegal, present in the media.
