General TV Channel / As of 1 January, the municipalities of Millingen , Ubbergen and Groesbeek have merged into one municipality. At the moment there are two local broadcasters in the new municipality: RTV WFM and Omroep Groesbeek. Due to the media law , there may only be one subsidized local broadcaster per municipality. A merger will take place, with both broadcasters merging into one new local broadcaster: Local Broadcast Berg en Dal.
Berg en Dal is a municipality in the eastern Netherlands, in the province of Gelderland. Berg en Dal has existed since 2016 and is named after the village of Berg en Dal. Previously it was known as Groesbeek, a municipality that merged with Millingen aan de Rijn and Ubbergen in 2015. Berg en Dal has about 19,000 inhabitants and covers an area of about 44 km². The municipality borders in the north on the Waal river and the Bijlands Kanaal, in the east on the German forest of the Reichswald, in the south on the province of Limburg, in the southwest on the forest of the Mookerheide (also Limburg), and in the west on the city of Nijmegen.
