General TV Channel / Romauno is an Italian local TV network based in Rome. It was born in December 2003 by an initiative by Manlio Cerroni, owner of the Malagrotta landfill, inspired by the all-news channel New York. RomaUno was widespread on digital terrestrial channel 11 in Rome and the province, while satellite was visible on the Sky Italia platform on channel 518. It was mostly a local information channel, sending in the early years of programming a newscast every hour and, in general, various programs of in-depth journalism, live and in close contact with the territories of the Roman municipalities.
