General TV Channel / In April 2009, the world of telecommunications in general, and that of television broadcasting in particular, was to be revolutionized with the creation of a television channel called “Téléboston”, broadcasting from Boston, Massachusetts. From its creation to the present day, this medium, with a distractive and informative vocation, only emits via Internet for the benefit of the Haitian community of Boston and its surrounding areas.
Shortly after the earthquake of January 12, 2010 that had almost devastated Haiti, the administrative team of Teleboston, thanks to calls received from viewers everywhere, quickly realized that those overseas were much more numerous that those of the soil. The need to give the community of Boston and its environs the opportunity to follow radio broadcasts was not long in being felt. Thus, in October of 2011, the Radiotéléboston was born.
