Government TV Channel / TV Legislativa will be the official transmitter of the National Assembly of Ecuador becoming the first television station of this function of the state that was responsible for spreading the parliamentary activity in the country, whose test broadcasts began on May 7, 2013. The channel had the purpose of contributing to inform, analyze and discuss publicly and widely the problems of the national reality, related to the parliamentary activity.
The channel was promoted by Arq. Fernando Cordero Cueva, who commissioned its director of communication, Julia Ortega Almeida and radio and television specialist Enrique Bayas , the preparation and implementation of the project called Televisión Legislativa TVL. Later on, Ing. Adrian Haro joined the team and was also the executor of the project and the creation of “La Radio” of the National Assembly of Ecuador.
