News TV Channel / TV Nova is a Czech commercial TV station. The broadcasting license was acquired in 1993, the first broadcast took place on 4 February 1994 in Prague. Vladimír Železný was the founder and CEO of the company. At that time it was the first Czech nationwide private television station. For years it has been the most watched Czech TV station.

Operated by TV Nova Media Company (formerly CET 21), which belongs to Central European Media Enterprises (CME) in Bermuda. Nova TV is located in Kříženeckého náměstí, in Prague 5, Barrandov. Television is available all over the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Chief Executive Officer is Christoph Mainusch, who is currently CEO of CET 21, through which TV Nova is managing.
