General TV Channel / Al-Shahed TV was established by an ambitious team composed of Sheikh Sabah Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah, Chairman of the Kuwaiti Media and Al-Dar Company, and Sheikh Talal Mohammed Al-Sabah, Deputy. Al-Shahed TV has a large studio with more than 15 locations for various programs.

The station also adopts the policy of strengthening national programs concerned with Kuwaiti affairs. The station serves programs in line with the Kuwaiti fabric of citizens and evaluators.
