General TV Channel / Radio Balafon is a private radio station in Cameroon in French, broadcasting on FM since May 27, 2011 in Douala. Founded by the former host and head of department of CRTV, Cyrille Bojiko in Douala in 2011, in 2017 it was the 3rd most listened to radio station in Cameroon.
The radio stands out through an attractive program offering, notably the program Sacré Matin2. This is a program that alternates between offbeat humor and is based on infotainment. Radio Balafon is an information and entertainment radio with a diversified program of broadcasts.
Launched in January 2020, Balafon Television is a private Cameroonian information and entertainment channel which belongs to the Balafon Media Group made up, among others, of Balafon Media Agency, an advertising agency and Radio Balafon, a radio station which broadcasts from Douala on FM 90.3, in Yaoundé and Bafoussam on FM 106.3.
Equipped with three production studios which combine all the latest techniques for producing multimedia content, Balafon Télévision is an offbeat channel which is shaking up the habits of the Cameroonian audiovisual landscape through: • Information enriched with cold and in-depth analyses; • Talks hosted by credible and free-spirited actors; • Entertainment based on original local creations.
