General TV Channel / Red Uno de Bolivia SA better known as Red Uno. For more than 5 years, it has been one of the most watched channels in Bolivia. Red Uno was born in Santa Cruz de la Sierra originally with the name of Cruceña de Televisión Channel 13 in April of 1984. In the city of La Paz began to broadcast the 1 of July of 1985 under the name of Teleandina through channel 11 VHF.

In its first years it emitted with a transmitter of 100w of power. In 1987 it began to broadcast at 6AM on Sundays and at 11AM from Monday to Friday. The first director of Teleandina was Hugo Roncal and he held the position from 1985 to 1992. Teleandina's studies moved from the city center to the Miraflores neighborhood and from there to his final location in Sopocachi. In 1991 the channel entered a stage of definitive consolidation.
