General TV Channel / Amhara Media Corporation is a television, radio and newspaper news organisation owned by the Amhara Region government in Ethiopia. AMC was established in 1993. During 2017–2020, AMC had about 400–500 employees.
Amhara Mass Media Agency was created in 1993 with the aim of promoting development, peace and democratisation. In 2020 the media organization was renamed Amhara Media Corporation. Amhara TV is owned by AMMA.
