OGTV was created as a separate entity by a bill unanimously passed by the Ogunsate House of Assembly and assented to the then Governor of the state, Late Chief BisiOnabanjo. All programmes broadcast in English, Yoruba and Egun reflecting the local content of the inhabitants.
